This is the best place to gather informations about rice at the Paddy Museum. This museum is located at the foot of Gunung Keriang. This is the first paddy musuem in Malaysia and the 4th to be opened in the world after Japan, Germany and Philippines. The Paddy Musuem consists of 3 levels. On level One, tourists can gain insights into the history of paddy planting in Kedahand view the exhibits comprising of the traditional paddy plant equipments like" kapok, renggam". On level Two,there are 6 galleries where mural paintings depiciting various agricultural activities. On level Three, visitors are surrounded by a 360' panaramic viewsof a malay village with miles of green paddy fields and blue sky above.
